The Constance K. Rife Scholarship
    
The Constance K. Rife Scholarship is a $1,000 single payment award made directly to the scholarship recipient.  To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must be female, a senior in high school, currently enrolled in high school, and an active member of a Nebraska School Activities Association recognized high school golf team.  All qualified applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (based on a 4.0 scale) at the time the application is submitted, and must be qualified for admission to a school, college, or university for full-time academic or technical courses.

Applicants are required to submit:

A personal essay of no more than 1,000 words on a theme designated by the scholarship committee
A letter of recommendation from a teacher or school counselor
A letter of verification from your high school golf coach confirming your membership on the golf team
Verification of grade point average from the school office

The scholarship began in 2010.  This year marked the second year the scholarship was offered.   Application forms become available on-line in the Fall and remain online until the submission deadline either before or after Winter break.  The scholarship is awarded the following Spring and the winner is notified at that time.  Should you have any questions or need additional information at this time please email your requests to mark@simpygolf.us.com or call Mark Baumann at (402) 305-5370.
