League History

Men's League was started  shortly after the Golf Course opened in 1987.   River Bend Golf Course is a public facility and the league is open to 108 men to sign up in the spring.  The format has evolved over the years to it's present form.  There are 18 six man teams.  Each week 4 of the six team members play against another team.  Four 9 hole games of match play golf are played for a total of 10 points per match.  This repeats itself for 18 weeks at which time there are play off in three divisions based on the team scoring through the 18 weeks. 

The end of the season wind up is a metal play tournament and a banquet.  Prizes and Trophies are handed out and the new executive for the new year is introduced.
