The Fall Cup is just around the corner and Captain Chase Kindrick (Team Rusty Wier) and Captain Butchie Gorden (Team Tim Brown) will soon be playing for the first pick. The date is set so get your vacation days turned in and make plans to be with us Thursday - Sunday. As more information becomes available we'll get it posted to the website.

Handicap Fun Facts 

There is some great information on the USGA website about handicaps but one of the more interesting facts is the misconception that a golfer should shoot his or her handicap every round. A USGA handicap is not an average of your scores it is a calculation based on the best 10 of your last 20 rounds. According to the USGA the odds of a golfer shooting his handicap is one in every 5 rounds. The odds of a 10 handicap golfer shooting just 2 strokes below their handicap is 22:1. To put that in Runaway Bay terms a golfer with a 10 handicap from the White Tees should only shoot an 80 just once one out of every 22 rounds!
